Three Sisters
Introducing my latest fine art drawing of the iconic Three Sisters in Canmore, Alberta. This piece is truly a shot of dopamine for your eyes and a spike of intense love for this symbol that represents "home" for so many of us. After seven years of living in the Rockies, seeing these three majestic peaks fills me with immense gratitude for the opportunities and experiences this remarkable place has afforded me. When I started this piece, I knew it would be special. It was intensely important to me to visually capture the profound appreciation, love, and timeless beauty this sight embodies and inspires. To capture this, I knew no better way than to blanket the peaks in a bursting array of sunset light, elevating the dusting of snow, colouring the clouds like delicate fairy floss, and coating the mountains and trees in a gamut of rainbow hues.
Four weeks and a thousand colourful pencil strokes later, I present to you the eighth drawing in my "Finding Myself in the Canadian Rockies" limited edition print collection. Each piece in this collection is a unique reflection of my personal journey and connection with the Rockies. This one, in particular, is a celebration of gratitude. May this drawing bring a sense of awe and gratitude into your home, reminding you of the beauty around us and illuminating the countless blessings surrounding you each day.
