Hi, I’m Kait! I’m an Aussie girl from North Queensland and a recently returned resident of Brisbane after seven amazing years living in Calgary, Canada.
I’ve been fortunate to enjoy a lifetime of creativity—working in various artistic industries, designing beautiful things and spaces, travelling the world, and living in two stunning, affluent countries.
I adore the full spectrum of the colour green, comedies and comedians, fresh flowers and faux plants, books and records, memes and gifs, swimming and dancing, and above all else, my Mark D’Arcy and our golden Flynn.
My Journey
Life’s toughest challenges often spark the most profound transformations. In August 2020, I injured my drawing wrist, losing 90% function and receiving a near career-ending diagnosis. Four years of rehabilitation later, I regained my wrist’s strength and mobility and rebuilt my life in extraordinary ways.
The struggle of the journey only deepened my passion for creating art that inspires, uplifts, and brings beauty into our homes and lives. Rehabilitation taught me four invaluable lessons: you have agency and influence over your life, be your fiercest advocate, surround yourself with the right people, and cultivate beauty and joy even in the hardest times.

The Canadian Rockies is a place of towering mountains, vivid blue lakes, and vibrant flora—a landscape that captivates and inspires, offering a sense of escape and self-discovery.
